About Dr. Halpern

Dr. Wendy Halpern is a board-certified periodontist known for her genuine, compassionate approach to patient care. Her professionalism, empathy, and efficiency consistently help patients feel at ease throughout their treatment. Dr. Halpern’s clinical expertise spans comprehensive periodontal disease management, dental implants, surgical tooth extractions, regenerative bone grafting, and periodontal plastic surgery. She earned her D.M.D., Periodontics Certificate, and Implant Fellowship from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

With over 15 years of experience practicing in Philadelphia and Montgomery County, Dr. Halpern brings both skill and dedication to every patient interaction. An active member of the American Academy of Periodontology and the Academy of Osseointegration, Dr. Halpern has held leadership roles within the AO since 2002, including Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Research Subcommittee. She currently serves as the incoming President of the Osseointegration Foundation.
