Shamus B. Gartley, DDS, MS

About Dr. Gartley

Dr. Shamus Gartley is a Board Certified Periodontist. He was born and raised in Plains, PA where he graduated from Coughlin High School. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from King’s College, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Gartley then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, MD. After graduation, Dr. Gartley chose to continue his dental training in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. After completion of his residency, Dr. Gartley moved back to Plains to treat and serve the community that raised him.

Dr. Gartley is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental association, and the Northeastern Society of Periodontists. Dr. Gartley specializes in the surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal disease and dental implants.

When not in the office, Dr. Gartley enjoys playing golf and spending as much time as possible with his family, dogs, and friends.
