Paula Muñoz, DDS

About Dr. Muñoz

Dr. Paula Muñoz began her training at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and went on to complete her oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Alameda Health System–Highland Hospital in Oakland, California, where she also served as Chief Resident. Her residency provided comprehensive surgical training in trauma management, dentoalveolar and implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, and maxillofacial pathology. Dr. Munoz works out of our Manhattan office.

Through these experiences, Dr. Muñoz developed a patient-centered approach that emphasizes both technical excellence and compassionate care. She is dedicated to guiding patients through some of their most vulnerable moments with safety, attentiveness, and understanding. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she is committed to connecting with and serving a diverse patient community.

Dr. Muñoz is proud to be part of the Leading Edge Oral Surgery team, where she values close collaboration with referring providers. Her goal is to ensure patients receive exceptional surgical care while maintaining open communication with their dental and medical teams.
