About Dr. Dominger
Dr. Martin Dominger is a highly accomplished, board‑certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon with more than two decades of clinical experience serving the Long Island community. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dentistry, followed by a medical degree from the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Dominger completed his rigorous residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, where he also served as Chief Resident.
Since beginning private practice in 2000, Dr. Dominger has built a distinguished career grounded in excellence, compassion, and patient‑centered care. He has practiced in Port Jefferson Station since 2004 and spent nearly 20 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine, helping train the next generation of surgeons.
A respected leader in his profession, Dr. Dominger is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and an active member of numerous dental organizations. His leadership roles include serving as President of the Suffolk County Dental Society, Trustee of the New York State Dental Association, and a multi‑year delegate to both the NYSDA and the American Dental Association.
