About Dr. Hourizadeh
Dr. Aria Hourizadeh is a Board Eligible Periodontist and Implant Surgeon who completed the Advanced Education Program in Periodontics at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. Raised in Great Neck, New York, he attended North Shore Hebrew Academy before earning a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University. He received his DDS degree from the NYU College of Dentistry, graduating with Honors in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry. Following dental school, he completed a one year General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, where he gained extensive experience managing medically complex patients and performing a broad range of surgical procedures. He is currently preparing for the oral examination to achieve Diplomate status with the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Hourizadeh is passionate about periodontal regeneration and implant dentistry, with particular interests in periodontal plastic surgery and advanced alveolar ridge augmentation. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of periodontal disease, peri-implant disease, correction of mucogingival deformities, sinus augmentation, implant site development, and interdisciplinary treatment planning for complex restorative cases. He is certified to administer intravenous (IV) sedation, enabling him to provide a safe, comfortable, and anxiety reducing experience for patients undergoing periodontal and implant surgical procedures. He is committed to delivering evidence based, patient centered care with an emphasis on surgical precision, long term stability, and esthetic excellence.
